According to the information I found, it comes down to about 5$ a month. And if you multiply that by the number of users that they have, it adds up to quite a lot of money for a data-mining company passing itself off as a social networking site. I guess it’s no wonder then, that facebook is so ridiculously aggressive with its advertising.
First off, I’d like to congratulate Netflix on adding sex-reassignment surgery as one of the health benefits they offer to their employees. That is really awesome of them to do so.
But that leaves the question of what is it they’re offering in terms of search options, to their users that are trans? Finding movies and tv shows that relate to trans-identity on netflix, is a pain. There’s a section for gays and lesbians, and that’s great for them, but there’s nothing for us. Trans related content shows up in various other categories, and it’s being left to us to go on an archeological search to dig up their hidden treasures. Are they ashamed of us?
To me it doesn’t make sense. On top of the few dozens of trans related movies and tv shows they already have listed, they also produce original content with amazingly well-written trans, and gender non-conforming characters ( Sense8, Knights of Sidonia, Orange is the new black ). Don’t they want to keep us as customers? And if so, wouldn’t it make sense that they add a category that makes it easy for us to find the content we’re looking for?
What do you think? Feel free to vote on the poll below or to write your opinion in the comment section.

NATNOTE: If we manage to get 50 votes in favor, I’ll make sure to forward this article to netflix. So be sure to vote and share accordingly. ^_^
Once again,a suggestion that didn’t come from me ended up winning the poll, which I think is totally awesome! Also, a big thank you to everyone who participated, as well as to anyone who just came to check it out! ^_^

NATNOTE: This comic-strip was inspired by a real-life occurrence.
Once again there was two winning entries, and I have to say that I really struggled to find a resolution that included them both, but I think I came up with a good compromise.
Also, a huge thank you to everyone who voted, talked about it, or just came to check it out. ^_^

NATNOTE: This morning’s sunrise was a half-sunrise, so [ YOU ]’re in the clear. It’s only when it’s a full-sunrise that [ YOU ] turn into a were-rooster.
So, it looks like we won’t be boycotting the upcoming 2014 Sochi Olympics. Bummer. But, why would we? With all that gender-segregated, celebration of the different aspects of the human body, the Olympics are already very, very, gay.
So I’ve been thinking, we need to come up with a universally recognized gesture that symbolizes support for LGBT people, in Russia, and around the world. Something that athletes can do at the games if they want to show support for us in a non-verbal way. A “Queer Salute” if you will. Something we can also use once the games are over too.
So, I`m holding a poll on the subject. And, in no particular order, here are some potential choices:
OPTION-A ” LIMP-WRISTED ”
A new spin on established queer body language. That bent wrist says: “I’m Queer and I’m proud”, the left hand on your chest says that you’re saying it from the heart.
OPTION-B, ” I heart PINK TRIANGLE ”
Modern, and self-explanatory. A little less outlandish, but also more likely to appeal to our straight allies.
OPTION-C Sign Language for the “G”
A write-in suggestions with a certain flair.
OPTION-D The Japanese gesture
Another stylish write-in option.
OPTION-E The Write-in. You send your sketch or pic, with the title of your pose to: queersalute@gmail.com
So yeah, here’s the poll: ^_^
AH! So the option for the “I heart pink triangle” won the vote, and it’s now the official T4D queer salute for the Sochi Olympics! Which is very cool! A lot people suggested doing it with a downward pointing triangle instead, so here is the final updated version of “I heart PINK TRIANGLE”:

NATNOTE: The models were rendered as art-store mannequins in a vague effort to keep it gender-neutral. :)
For anyone wondering what the space language in the title caption says, here it is: “You don’t get to take decisions when you’re in the NREM-2 part of your sleep cycle”…
NATNOTE: BTW a 9 point-star is called an “enneagram”… ( hint-hint! ) ^_^
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!! ( All 5 of them ^_^ ) … and a democratically-elected, freshly-rendered, new panel has just been uploaded. So here you go:

NATNOTE: The next issue is on August 20th. And don’t feel bad about your low voter turnout this month, I’m sure it happens to a lot of other comic strip protagonists… :)
How much money are you worth to facebook?
